When Victor and I created These Wild Woods, our ho When Victor and I created These Wild Woods, our hope was to give readers something they could lean on during life’s tough moments.

In the story, the main character wears a scarf throughout his journey, using it playfully and creatively as he navigates the woods. That scarf became the inspiration for this simple acronym—something to remind you: you’ve got this, you can do hard things!

✨ S – Stop and breathe
✨ C – Choose kindness for yourself
✨ A – Affirm your abilities
✨ R – Reflect on your progress
✨ F – Focus on the next step

We even turned it into a free printable poster you can grab here → thisisfriendly.com/thesewildwoods

And if you’d like to dive into the story, you can find the book wherever books are sold! DM me if you want the direct link 🤍
🍁Happy Fall y’all 🍂 My bonus daughter had the day 🍁Happy Fall y’all 🍂

My bonus daughter had the day off of school today so after lunch we made a quick trip to Aldi to grab some Fall goodness to celebrate the first day of Fall. My favorite find was the pumpkin casserole dish for $7.99 that I’m using to store the candy corn and peanut mix 😍

We made roasted butternut squash with cinnamon and honey as a dinner side to our meatballs and broccoli dinner. And for dessert we made apple nachos and absolutely destroyed the pumpkin cake bites. Highly recommend 🙌🏼 #aldifinds
From classrooms to living rooms, I’m in the middle From classrooms to living rooms, I’m in the middle of a whole new chapter. I’ve packed up my lanyard and embraced a new type of education - home buying and property management.

Turns out real estate and property management aren’t that different from being an elementary teacher - still 100% a chaos coordinator with the occasional wild animal thrown in.

Classroom ~ Open House
You spend hours preparing it, but someone still shows up late, unprepared, and asking random questions.

Lesson Plans ~ Leases
You think you’ve got it airtight, but someone always finds a loophole.

Students ~ Tenants
They don’t always listen, they test boundaries, and you hear “I didn’t do it!” at least once a day.

Parent Emails ~ Tenant Complaints
Both arrive after hours and start with “This is urgent.”

Grading Papers ~ Reviewing Applications
Endless stacks, questionable handwriting, and you wonder if they’re telling the truth.

Field Trips ~ Showings
Chaos, snacks, and someone always gets lost.

Report Cards ~ Home Inspections
You hope for the best but secretly expect drama.

In all fun, I’m loving this next chapter and I hope you stick around to see it! Real estate, property management, Nashville bites and my favorite things around town @withsamanthasnow ❤️ Love Where You Live
