🌟 Meet Mrs. Snow 🌟

Hello!

I’m a passionate educator with roots in sunny Tampa, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a master’s in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. Since stepping into the vibrant world of first grade in 2007, I’ve been on a mission to ignite a love for learning in my students. In 2010, I had the great honor granted to me by my peers and voted Teacher of the Year.

In 2011 I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and continued my teaching journey. I had the pleasure of teaching first grade at a top performing magnet school in the Metro Nashville School District. I focused my lessons on engaging, hands on activities with a special emphasis on literature and social emotional learning. From 2012-2014 I served as a Supervising Teacher for Vanderbilt Peabody practicum students.

In 2014, I took my classroom adventures to Instagram, sharing creative teaching ideas and fun activities that make learning an exciting journey for young minds. My heart belongs in primary education, especially the magic of first and second grade, where I strive to create engaging experiences that inspire curiosity and joy.

When I’m not creating, you can find me eating my way around Nashville or cozied up with my computer or a good book in a coffee shop somewhere! I also enjoy spending time with my talented husband Victor Huckabee, our four very energetic kids, and two rescue dogs – Ollie and Rosie!
